Cumberland County Equine Rescue / Rehab
We were in Cumberland County, North Carolina. We also support the surrounding counties. CCERR and the local SPCA’s / Animal Controls do our best to work hand and hand to protect the equine family. We have been saving horses for over 12 years and went 501C3 in March 2007. Our main goals are to give neglected and abused horses a second chance and try to find them a compatible owner after they are nursed back to health.
There are six members of our operation and a handful of volunteers to help with the Rescues needs.
This last year Mr. William took a new position to the greater Kernersville,North Carolina area April 24,2009 we closed on our new home and rescue . Yes God found us a beautiful 54 year old farm house approximetely 8-10 acres before we are finished.We have been building fence-lines and starting in preparation for the herd to start comming here.Ms. Sarean has started Forbush Middle School. She will be part of its 1st class as The school is brand spankin knew.Right before Thanksgiving I transported Genesis , Mr. Richard Pickle Our resident Donkety and Hercules to the New house. In town I still have Rocky , Sabre and Jackie. I travel to town friday and DJ our business the weekend at Lucky's Irish pub and then Sunday I come back to get Sarean off to school during the week and spending a little down time with Mr. William. It has been very wearing on all .We will be opened next year to assist local rescues and private equine owners were we can. Mostly on founder and rehab. Riding A Must!!!!
